In the midst of doing 5 billion grad school visits. And by 5 billion, I of course mean 5. But only 3 of the schools I am visiting/have visited are in the Midwest, and only one is within a comfortable driving distance of Chicago. And due to shoddy scheduling on my part, that drive will be completed during the hours of 6am-8:30am. Sweet.
But really, I am excited for something new. It's just such a big decision because I am essentially making a decision that will in many ways affect my future livelihood, as well as my location for the next 5-6 years. How do I balance program reputations with other factors like location, cohort (who will be going there with me), and the all important financial considerations?
At any rate, 2 visits down, 3 to go.
